Today's moment of WTF?

I'm checking my flist this morning at work, and most of the icons have been replaced with "This Web Ad has been blocked". WTF? I didn't change my browser settings. And I didn't download or install any updates yesterday.

Let me take a look at my flist in Firefox to determine if this is a new IE "feature" or if our network guys are getting overzealous.

[Updated 9:28] I just checked. They're blocked in Firefox as well. Grr! Argh!

I'm imagining it's your work that's blocking the images, as I'm seeing them just fine on Firefox.

Check your firewall settings (if you can). That was the issue I had when I couldn't see animated gifs; I imagine that images are being blocked at that point because they fail in both browsers.

One of my co-workers was getting the same thing, so it's likely to be a firewall issue. Looks like the corporate guys who run the firewall are getting a little overzealous.

Likely it's a network or firewall issue.
