I've been doing mens' work since 1994. Most of it has been though the ManKind Project. How has it enriched my life?
- I've learned how to love myself in a healthy way, without it slipping into the extreme of narcissism.
- I've learned how to carry my personal power, without having to wield it like a weapon.
- I've learned to let myself be open and trust other men.
- I've learned new methods for articulating what I'm thinking and feeling.
- I've become aware of some of the "blind spots" in my life.
- I've been able to heal my "father wounds" and inteact with him on an adult-to-adult basis.
- I've learned that I can do things which I didn't think I was able to do.
- I have a safe place where I can cry and rage if I feel the need to do so.
- I've become a better person because of the aforementioned items.
