Once again, I scoop filkertom and Wikipedia.

Chef Tell passes away at 63.

I remember Chef Tell from PM Magazine, which was a syndicated evening news/entertainment show in the late '70s and early '80s. His signature sign-off was "I see you!"

According to the news article, he was the inspiration for the Swedish Chef on the Muppet Show.

I remember him - and I even have his cookbook, "Chef Tell Tells All."
