Yesterday, I posted my resume onto several different job boards. Today, I had 4 nibbles -- email messages from recruiters and/or companies -- including one strong prospect.

It's nice to be able to get my hopes up. But at the same time, I realize that this is only the initial feeding frenzy, and that things will die down in a few days.

Also, if there's one thing I'm afraid of, I'm afraid of being successful. I don't want to have to decide between two or more job offers at the same time.

So it's only the initial feeding frenzy. Keep the frenzy going untill you get a good job, by reposting every couple of weeks. Tweek your resume just a bit every time you repost to keep if fresh and interesting and in the minds of employers.

Don't allow yourself to be afraid of success. Choices gives you a better chance at getting good things flowing in your life. Remember to look at glasses as always half full not half empty. Silver linings only exist if you look for them.

Good job finding energies are on the way.
