Buffalo trip - April 5-10....

poltr1I spent the last week in Buffalo, NY visiting my mother. (As a rule, for security reasons, I don't publicize my trips in advance on LJ, FB, or any other social media. I don't even talk about traveling while I'm away.)
A couple of weeks ago, I received a message from my sister in Colorado that my mom's home health care aides noted that my mom was eating less than usual, and asked me to check it out. Mom was eating her usual amounts the week I was there.
Mon 4/5: A sunny day. Left Dayton. Made obligatory stop at Tucky's in Cleveland for lunch. Gotta love Crazy Mondays, where EVERYTHING on the menu is 2-for-1. Arrived in Buffalo around 6:30pm and had beef on weck at Anderson's Frozen Custard.
Tue 4/6: It rained. Had a John & Mary's sub for lunch...or dinner. Spent some time with Louis & Liz, and had Mighty Taco for dinner.
Wed 4/7: It rained again. It even hailed for a couple of minutes while I was at Coffee Culture downloading OpenOffice 3.2. Went shopping. Had part of a Bocce Club pizza and wings for dinner. (Duff's parking lot was full.)

ennisdl, and a shake at Parkside Candy. Had more Bocce Club pizza for lunch and dinner.
Fri 4/9: It rained again. Met withjslove, Joe, and Ellen for lunch at John & Mary's. They were on their way to FilkOntario. Had dinner with Bill & Darleen & the boys that night.
Sat 4/10: A sunny day (finally). Had lunch at Ted's Hot Dogs. Had dinner withathenawindsong and Sean. Made a quick stop at Micro Center. Arrived home around 10:15pm to cats that were happy to see me.
Thanks to Deb for taking care of my cats while I was away.
