Computer and job update......

poltr1Job: Got a call today from one of my keepers at RHT. They have a 1-week Access job with the HQ of a major upscale department store chain, starting tomorrow. Time to dust off the suit and drag the lint roller across it; it's been a while since I've last worn a suit.
Computer: I stopped in at the computer shop where my PC is being repaired since I was in the area. The technician working on my PC was able to find and install a BIOS upgrade for my machine. But in order to reinstall the OS onto the hard drive, and partition the hard drive the way I like it, he needed the operating system registration key from the CD. (I still use Win 98 SE.) When I got home, I called it in. But what I gave him wasn't the right number. After talking with the shop owner (who's a good friend of mine), we remembered that the registration key came from the cover of the booklet. So I looked for the booklet, found it, and gave that number to the technician. Hopefully it should be ready for pickup by tomorrow evening.
