poltr1Job: Started today on the next contract task -- making enhancements to, and fixing problems in, an Access database used by the client's HR department to track employee grievances. The bad news is that it's in a downtown area, and it's up on the 21st floor. The good news is that it's quiet up there, and there's a cafeteria on the floor. So as long as I stay away from windows, and not look straight down if I'm near a window, I can forget I'm so high up. Plus it's only for a week, which is both good and bad.
Computer: Nope, not done yet. The copy of Ontrack the store had was a 30-day trial version that expired. I had to deliver to them a copy of the software I used to perform the initial transfer. (I also referred them to the Western Digital support website, which is where I downloaded the software I used: Data Lifeguard.)
