Looks like more of my friends found the South Park character generator. Last week, figmo debuted her SP character. Now I see that doeadear made herself an SP character, and made one for gleepy. I hope the folks who wrote the character generator don't get any flak from Comedy Central. They did it as a labor of love.

And now for my next trick...learning how to upload images into my LJ entries. Or is that something I can do once I'm a paid member?

I've also made my own. Problem is, in order to save it, I had to save it in the Photo Fantasy program and when I saved it as a bitmap, it came out to be 400KB. Way too large to use. I still haven't figured how to reduce it.

Does Photo Fantasy allow you to save in other formats? After I grabbed my screen shot, I pasted it into Paint Shop Pro, cropped it, and saved it as a GIF file. Then I created a scaled-down version for the 100x100 icon.

To paraphrase the well-known jingle, Choosy graphics arts designers use GIF for drawings and screen shots, and JPEG for photos. :-)
