Trip to Buffalo.....

poltr1I went up to Buffalo last weekend to visit my mother and a few friends. Here's the overdue trip report.
Overall, Mom's doing OK, but she's getting a little more forgetful. I still don't like her overbuying and stocking up on things she doesn't need right away.
Fri 2/18: Breakfast at Bob Evans. Roads were clear and dry. Made a stop at Marc's and Micro Center in Mayfield Heights (near Cleveland). Had a phone interview in the parking lot. Lunch at Jimmy John's. Arrived at around 7 PM. Went to Kegler's (the restaurant and bar in Transit Lanes) with Liz and Louis for dinner (pizza and wings), followed by karaoke.

kliklikitty and gave her a spare laptop of mine. Visited Sal, who talked about his film project, conventions, and unemployment.
Sun 2/20: Dropped off some old ACM and IEEE magazines from the 1980s for recycling. Had souvlaki for dinner at Athena's. Met with Liz and Louis for coffee (or tea) at Coffee Culture.
Mon 2/21: Had breakfast at Denny's with Bill, Darleen, and their 2 sons. I-90 was good, but when I got to I-271, it started to snow. It got heavier as I continued south. Picked up a RoomSaver coupon book. Stopped in Ashland (I-71 exit 186) and checked in to a motel to stay the night.
Tue 2/22: Had the hotel breakfast. Packed up the car and headed to Dayton. Made a side trip to Chris and Melissa's place to pick up a computer that needed fixing. Arrived home at around 2 PM.
