This week's supply of idiots......

Englewood, Ohio: Three men were caught trying to steal riding lawnmowers at a local TSC (Tractor Supply Co.) They got into their van and drove off, with the police in pursuit. They tried to ram the cruiser, and the chase began. The chase ended on a cul-de-sac in the neighboring town of Riverside, when the van sideswiped a tree in a residential neighborhood. Two of the men were stuck inside the van. The driver ran away, but was caught in the backyard where his artificial leg fell off. I am not making this up! Read the story! If the leg don't fit, you cannot split.
New York: A man is suing four fast-food restaurant chains -- McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and KFC -- because they contributed to his obesity by serving addicting food. Yet another "lawsuit lottery loser" crying "victim" when he should be crying "volunteer." [7/27/02: This just in....here's a link to the story!]
Washington, DC: Rep. James Traficant, who represents the area of Youngstown, Ohio, was expelled from Congress after being foun guilty of corruption and racketeering. Even though he will be in prison, he has vowed that he will be running for re-election as an independent. Beam him up, Mr. Speaker.....</i

BTW, The news anchor who broke the story didn't read the "cooking impaired" part of the story to us.

In this FoxNews article, the lead plaintiff sez, "I ate [fast food] more often than not because I was single, it was quick and I’m not a very good cook."
Yeah, pretty amazing that this guy never learned how to operate a microwave. I know that frozen dinners get tiresome after awhile, but fast food also gets tiresome if you eat it night after night.
