Tonight's housecleaning....
Jan. 11th, 2007 10:55 pmLast weekend, I bought a small shelf unit at Target. I assembled it tonight, and it is now on my stairway, where it curves to the left. I think that's just what that area needed. I was concerned that it would be too deep, but it appears to be fine. (I know, it's not safe to have anything on a stairway.) I also dusted the dining room chandelier. It needed it.
I also started listening to some of my higher-numbered tapes (#251 and above) that don't have any markings on them. (There wasn't anything good on TV tonight.) It's kind of scary not knowing what I taped years ago and not knowing what to expect.
I'm also missing tapes #255, #267, #268, and #287-291. (The highest numbered tape in the collection is #313.) Did I even assign numbers 287-291? If so, what happened to them? I have no recollection of loaning them out to people. Does anyone else number their audio and/or video tapes? Or am I just anal that way?
If I can just do two hours a night on weeknights, I should eventually get the house done. This weekend, I'll probably schlep stuff to the garage and try to find a place for it there.
