I made it back from Ohio Valley Filk Fest. I couldn't get crash space for Saturday night, and couldn't afford a room for myself. So I stayed for today only.

The good:
Had good conversations with [livejournal.com profile] suecochran, [livejournal.com profile] gorgeousgary, [livejournal.com profile] billroper, [livejournal.com profile] rms_butterfly, [livejournal.com profile] patoadam, [livejournal.com profile] celticferret, and Joe Ellis (NOLJ, AFAIK).

Meeting [livejournal.com profile] singlemaltsilk in the dealers' room.

Had dinner at Aladdin's Eatery with [livejournal.com profile] tigertoy, his mother Helen, [livejournal.com profile] robin_june, and Alan.

The Interfilk auction. (Loved [livejournal.com profile] cadhla's pumpkin-orange bathrobe...and the rest of her outfit!)

The not-so-good:
Having tummy trouble at the con. (Maybe it was something I ate at breakfast.)

Sitting in on a late-night conversation in the hall among filkers and not getting acknowledged. It wasn't my intention to intrude. But being on the outside looking in still hurts.

Not having enough time to chat with many of the filkers on my LJ-friends list, and those I know who are NOLJ. (Always a problem at cons.)

One LJ entry on my LJ-friends list ended with "Well, your tongue would be that long too if you were frenching your zombie face-pulling-off lycanthropic centipede mom."

The next LJ entry from another LJ-friend was titled "Do You Kiss Your Mother With That Mouth?"

AFAIK, these two LJ-friends of mine do not know each other.

Although I must say their database isn't correct. It said there were 0 people with my last name, and I know otherwise.
