Back from OVFF......
Oct. 22nd, 2006 02:14 amI made it back from Ohio Valley Filk Fest. I couldn't get crash space for Saturday night, and couldn't afford a room for myself. So I stayed for today only.
The good:

suecochran, gorgeousgary, billroper, rms_butterfly, patoadam, celticferret, and Joe Ellis (NOLJ, AFAIK).
Meetingsinglemaltsilk in the dealers' room.
Had dinner at Aladdin's Eatery withtigertoy, his mother Helen, robin_june, and Alan.
The Interfilk auction. (Lovedcadhla's pumpkin-orange bathrobe...and the rest of her outfit!)
The not-so-good:
Having tummy trouble at the con. (Maybe it was something I ate at breakfast.)
Sitting in on a late-night conversation in the hall among filkers and not getting acknowledged. It wasn't my intention to intrude. But being on the outside looking in still hurts.
Not having enough time to chat with many of the filkers on my LJ-friends list, and those I know who are NOLJ. (Always a problem at cons.)
