A low-energy day.....
Aug. 28th, 2006 10:15 pmToday, like all Mondays, started too early. Despite the rain and relative coolness, I made it to work, but I was dragging all day. I was cold and tired. I put on a sweatshirt to help keep warm. Even a bowl of soup at lunch didn't warm me up. I ended up going home a couple of hours early. I called two men from the mens' group (as per our group agrement), telling them I wouldn't be there.
Some days, I just don't have enough spoons to get me through the day.
Why does my body do this every so often? Is this a disease, or just a symptom? Is it what I'm eating or not eating that's causing this? Or is it something else?

Date: 2006-08-30 03:27 am (UTC)I think the reason I felt so run down is that I didn't get enough protein on Sunday night and Monday morning. Breakfast was a doughnut, and lunch was soup and salad.
I'm not sure how I'd find the foods I need. I know there's the series of books advising people to eat based on their blood type.
I've also been thinking about getting a colon cleansing. The owner of a chain of helth-food stores in Columbus strongly recommends them (along with her supplement products). So does Kevin Trudeau, author of Natural Cures THEY Don't Want You To Know About.

My Goddess Mother had his book and loved it alot she was forever passing along it's simple wisdoms. I must say most of them worked well.
Bottom line is that you need to take the best care of yourself that you can, your family needs you to be there for them for a long time to come; Especially little M.
