An early spring?

I heard the news that Punxsatawny Phil did not see her shadow today. That means an early spring, according to the folklore.
I haven't heard if Buckeye Chuck saw his shadow or not.
I do know that it's cold and snowy today here, and the roads were a little slippery.
Since I don't like to repeat myself on LJ if I can help it, here's an entry I wrote about groundhogs two years ago. The Daughter has since "inherited" the plush groundhog.

Woodchuck sees shadow: Six more weeks until spring

Maybe I'll celebrate Ground Hog Day with a frozen pepperoni pizza.
