I've had enough elephant dung.....

Some somewhat random thoughts, in the form of bullet points:
The absentee ballot has been mailed in, and I can now prepare for my civic duty on Tuesday, as I work the polls that day. Wish me luck. In the meantime, I can safely ignore all the political ads that will be running nonstop from now until Tuesday. I've made up my mind. Nyah.
It's always toughest to vote for the judges, because they have no political party affiliation and there's very little information to go on.
Polarized partisan politics is poisoning America. (How's that for alliteration?)
Is anyone else as tired of the GOP "attack ads" as I am? They do nothing to bolster their candidate, and cast fear, uncertainty and doubt on their opponent. Let it be know that that strategy no longer works on me.
Saw a sign for "Karl Marx/Joe Biden", and "Spread the Wealth - Vote Obama". I had to chuckle. They're still trying to run the "socialist" angle, which started with an article in the _Investors' Busines Daily_. Is socialism really such a bad thing? It is when there's a 100% tax rate. (But the tax forms will be simpler.)
When will the moderates of the Republican Party reclaim the party from the neoconservatives who hijacked it several yeasr ago? Better yet, when will some judge order the party to be split up, the way Judge Greene carved up AT&T in the 80s?
